
Being "green" is really hot right now. In San Francisco, the Board of Supervisors just voted 10-1 for 100 or so of the largest grocery stores and pharmacies to use only biodegradable plastic bags or paper bags. Banned are the petroleum-based bags that are usually used. Has SF gone too far or are they leading the way? As a consumer, do you really care if you can't use a petroleum made bag? Let us know if your city is doing something.
