Published in the September edition of the "Journal of Family Issues" research conducted by Dr. Theodore Greenstein, professor of sociology at NC State, Jennifer Marks, a graduate research assistant in sociology at NC State, and Dr. Shannon Davis, assistant professor of sociology at George Mason University studied data from more than 17,000 respondents in 28 countries and found that a live-in boyfriend will perform more household chores than his female counter part because cohabiting couples will more than likely split the housework more equally than married couples. The tables soon turn after a couple weds as women, on average, tend to do twice as much housework. Where's the love, guys?
