
When you graduate from college, you think you're going to drop those extra pounds you packed on because of all the extra time you'll have. Unfortunately, working for The Man means your booty stays in a chair for eight hours and continues to grow. Well, that's about to change. Researchers at the Mayo Clinic have designed a stand-up desk with a treadmill underneath. The desk runs $1,600 and will be available for purchase through office-furniture maker Steelcase Inc. Fourteen women and one man tested the new treadmill-desk and found that it did not disrupt their workflow and nobody fell off. Hey, that's a pretty good sign.
