Burger Bill Gets King Sized
George and Pat Beane thought they were getting just a few burgers from Burger King, instead the whopper they received was their receipt. The cashier made a mistake and punched the price of $4.33 twice. The Beane's used their debit card and the transaction went through, draining their account of $4,334.33! The money was eventually refunded and Burger King absorbed the price of the original meal. This makes the Six Dollar Burger from Carl's Jr. look pathetic. Hopefully this experience won't relegate the couple to the 99 cent menu in the future.

Bad Marriage? Try Robitussin
A new study of 1,049 married couples found that being in a bad marriage can literally make you feel sick. The study, entitled "You Make Me Sick: Marital Quality and Health Over the Life Course" out of the University of Texas-Austin reinforces that a healthy marriage is something to be valued. This article highlights that while a bad marriage has you reaching for the medicine cabinet a healthy marriage is good for you, helping marrieds live longer and be more prosperous.
Ain't Love a Kick?
Across the Atlantic, UK-based psychologist Dr. Aric Sigman conducted a survey of 2,000 men and found that 94% say they would never abandon their favorite football team (that's soccer in the States) regardless of how poorly the team performed. Meanwhile, 52% of men concede they would walk from a marriage that was behind on the scoreboard. Well, at least we know men are capable of being faithful, it's just too bad that 42% of them are choosing David Beckham over their spouse.
